Q: Tell us about what you did prior to HARDI.

A: Prior to HARDI, I was a Team Development and Training Manager for a property development and management company. I designed the training strategy, designed and facilitated courses, managed their training evaluation program and learning management system (LMS) to provide a positive learning culture for their sales, maintenance and leadership learners. Prior to that, I worked in various industries including healthcare manufacturing, legal collections and automotive where I held a wide variety of training roles including facilitating, course design (both instructor led and eLearning), LMS management, quality assurance, and program design.

Q: What do you do at HARDI and in what circumstances would a member seek out your assistance?

A: At HARDI as the Manager of Talent and HR Solutions, my goal is to help our members learn and understand everything that HARDI has to offer regarding talent and HR products. Members should reach out to me anytime that they have a question regarding HEAT.U, course enrollment, training program design, certification programs or HR inquiries where we can partner to find the best solution to meet their needs.

Q: What led you to this career?

A: What led me to this career is that it is really challenging. I like having the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and help them learn new skills giving them the confidence they need to excel in their roles or maybe live better lives overall.

Q: What excites you most about working for HARDI?

A: What excites me the most about working for HARDI is that it presents a great deal of challenge as well. As 2020 approaches, it’s important to keep pushing the envelope in the way that companies engage their learners ensuring that they are prepared not only to execute their current role but grow their careers for the next stages beyond. I look forward to being a part of that growth process with HARDI members.

Q: What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why? 

A: I am very hard working and work with a high degree of integrity, I think both of those traits have gotten  me quite far. As I work to get things accomplished, those around me know that I am going to roll up my sleeves and dig deep to complete the task. Once the task is completed, it will be a good representation of the hard work put into it not just something done for the sake of doing it.

Q: What was your first job?

A: I was a lab intern for the American Chemical Society where we helped to design a formula for white board paint.

Q: What is your favorite activity outside of work?

A: I really like to cook. I love creating something wonderful from just a few ingredients and hearing nothing but silence at the table because my dish is being savored.

Q: What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?

A: Silence, after all, when you get paid to talk sometimes you just want to be still and be quiet.

Q: What’s your go-to karaoke song?

A: Midnight Train to Georgia, my best friend always signs me up to sing it and I don’t even know the words lol, but I guess I deliver it ok. Personally, I like Killing Me Softly.

Q: Where is your favorite place in the world?

A: I have been to many places, but I enjoyed my time in Paris, France. It was full of history and great food and I would love the chance to return.
